Journalist Sreenivasan Jain quits NDTV after 30 years

Journalist Sreenivasan Jain today announced that he has resigned from NDTV. Sreenivasan has been associated with the Delhi-based news channel since 1995.
He tweeted, “Hi all. An amazing, nearly three- decade long run at NDTV comes to an end today. The decision to resign wasn’t easy, but.. it is what it is. More later.”
Jain was one of rhe most prominent faces of NDTV for over his three-decade career with the news television. He served as the anchor of NDTV’s several popular programmes, including Reality Check and Truth vs Hype. Journalist Sreenivasan Jain has received numerous awards for his contribution in the field of Journalism, over the years.
Following Adani Group acquisition, Ndtv has witnessed an increase in resignations over the last few months. Among those who hace resigned are Journalist Ravish Kumar, Senior Executive Editor of Ndtv India and Ndtv Group President Suparna Singh. Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy who once owned the news channel also left the company’s board in December 2022.
