Supersourcing, an IT outsourcing company, has secured Rs 1.5 crore in seed capital from well-known angel investors including Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Dr Ritesh Malik, and Nikhil Sharma. EngineerBabu, an Indore-based company, plans to use the financing to boost its worldwide expansion through partnerships, content, advertisements, PR, and the employment of CTOs and other tech and product growth engineers.
Mayank Pratap Singh, co-founder and CEO said, “Being in the business for more than seven years, we were aware of the reasons why smaller IT companies were underperforming and leaving their clients feeling duped. In particular, when they are operating in an expensive country many of these organisations lack the funding to employ full-time engineers.” He also said, “We want to restore the faith that people once had in the IT outsourcing business. This can only occur if the appropriate job is delivered to the right firms at the right time and cost.”
Further, he added, “This online 360-degree verification is followed by a face-to-face interview with a member of our staff. Supersourcing saves time by suggesting the best agency within the given budget, timetable, and need.”

The eight-month-old firm, founded by Mayank Pratap Singh and Aditi Chaurasia, says it wants to disrupt the ten-year-old practice of IT outsourcing through a digital-first and trust-based strategy. Supersourcing seeks to narrow the selection gap between choosing from among hundreds of possible IT agency partners and shortlisting them. Based on the unique requirements of each project, the platform provides suggestions for IT agencies.
The startup claims that the $4 trillion outsourcing market is expanding globally. Supersourcing is a bet on the market searching for reliable sources. In the first three months following its debut, the business asserts to have given over $10 million in work to over 300 agencies worldwide.
