Edtech startup Innovartan Learning Solutions has successfully raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round, co-led by industry veterans Gokul Rajaram and Amit Singhal. The startup aims to bridge the divide between traditional school education and competitive exam preparation by empowering schools to become comprehensive centers for academic excellence.
Innovartan Learning, founded in 2023 by Prashant Sharma, addresses a persistent issue within India’s education system—students often attend school solely for board exam preparation while relying on external coaching for competitive exams. By integrating competitive exam prep directly into school curriculums, Innovartan seeks to eliminate the need for separate coaching classes. The funding will support Innovartan’s efforts to provide schools with the necessary resources and expertise, allowing them to support students’ academic journeys from start to finish.
In a statement, Innovartan Learning said, “The funds will be used to bridge the gap between school education and competitive exam preparation, empowering schools to become self-sufficient centers of academic excellence.”
With this new approach, Innovartan aims to reduce the financial and emotional burden on families who might otherwise need to send their children to coaching-centric cities. Innovartan’s model focuses on providing students with a comprehensive education within their communities, enhancing learning outcomes without the added pressures and distractions of outside coaching.
“Through Innovartan Learning, schools can offer comprehensive education under one roof, ensuring that students can stay close to their families, learn in familiar environments, and focus on their growth without the distractions and pressures of external coaching,” added Innovartan Learning in its press release.
Innovartan Learning is based in Noida and hopes to transform the educational landscape, fostering a system that allows students to thrive within their own communities and creating a robust support structure for competitive exam success.
