Indian Handloom Brand Dressfolk Secures Rs 3.3 Crore in Seed Funding Led by All-In Capital


Dressfolk, an Indian ethical clothing brand specializing in handloom clothing, announced a successful seed funding round, raising ₹3.3 Cr with All In Capital as the lead investor. Other strategic investors, including Sidhant Keshwani of Libas, Sidhesh Chauhan of Jade Blue, and Riju Jhunjhunwala of RSWM Ltd, also participated in this funding.

Dressfolk, founded in 2017, aims to modernize traditional Indian weaves while empowering local artisan communities. With a commitment to ethical business practices and sustainable fashion, Dressfolk co-produces garments with artisans, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

Nitin Mehrotra, Founder & CEO of Dressfolk, expressed pride in their “Made in India but Made of India” approach and stated, “We’re delighted that investors saw the immense potential in our long-term vision of building the most compelling destination for luxurious and high-quality Indian looms.”

The funds raised will be utilized to strengthen Dressfolk’s product portfolio, expand distribution channels, and grow its team and operations. Currently, Dressfolk collaborates with over 600 weavers and 120 artisans across six states, serving customers globally through its online platform and various marketplaces.

Sidhant Keshwani, Founder at Libas, acknowledged the competitive landscape in India’s direct-to-consumer market and expressed confidence in Dressfolk’s potential to disrupt the luxury handloom space.

This funding round also saw participation from several angel investors, further reinforcing Dressfolk’s mission to promote ethical and sustainable Indian handloom fashion.

Dressfolk’s long-term vision is to become a leading destination for luxurious and high-quality Indian handloom products.
