IIT Mandi Catalyst Launches Investment Readiness Program, Unveils First Cohort of Startups

IIT Mandi Catalyst was launched in 2016 by IIT Mandi as Himachal Pradesh’s first Technology Business Incubator (TBI). It offers a low-cost, tranquil, and health-tech venue for early-stage entrepreneurs which is away from the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced life, pollution, excessively long commutes, and other big-cities complexities.

IIT Mandi Catalyst inaugurated their first cohort of the Investment Readiness Program which is a specially curated program for startups that are at the stage of commercialization and are looking to scale up & penetrate the market further. The event commenced with a warm welcome note from Dr. Satvasheel Powar, Faculty Incharge at IIT Mandi Catalyst, extending greetings to the esteemed guest and all the startups in attendance.

Mr. Saurabh Mittal, Senior Advisor at IIT Mandi Catalyst, shared insights into the journey and evolution of the organization. He passionately highlighted the commitment to establish a sustainable startup valley amidst the hills, emphasizing the cultivation of an ecosystem driven by innovation and sustainability.

The inaugural session featured an exclusive Keynote Address by Mr. Amit Singal, Founding Partner of Fluid Ventures & RealTime Angel Fund, focusing on preparing startups for investment.

The session provided startups with valuable insights into investment readiness, offering a platform for meaningful discussions on the challenges and opportunities in the startup landscape.
