Hitwicket brings in new hires for product and engineering roles


Hitwicket, the multiplayer cricket strategy gaming app, has strengthened its engineering and product divisions with new hires. Eve Chang has been named the product head, while Krishnakanth Mallik Chaganti has been appointed as the vice-president of engineering, effective immediately. Chang’s responsibilities include developing the product roadmap, assisting in production management, mentoring the team, and implementing live operations with more engaging and entertaining content for fans.

With a career spanning three continents and 15 years, Eve Chang has been appointed as product head at Hitwicket. During her career, Chang served as the product owner of Temple Run and Temple Run 2, which collectively garnered over a billion downloads while at Imangi. She also held the position of product owner of Bejeweled Blitz during her tenure at Electronic Arts (EA). Chang previously worked at Activision on the Call of Duty Online with Tencent as the publisher, where she worked as a producer, overseeing production, communication, legal approvals, and user testing.

Krishnakanth Mallik Chaganti has been named vice-president of engineering at Hitwicket. In his new role, Chaganti will lead the engineering division and focus on developing high-performance technology teams that support game roadmaps while also creating the next generation of game tech. Chaganti is a tech leader and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in game development. Prior to joining Hitwicket, he co-founded Playmat and served as its CTO. During his career, Chaganti worked on various games such as Tetris, Disney’s Infinity for WiiU, Heroes of Dragon Age, Monopoly Slots, and Plants vs. Zombies.

Hitwicket Superstars is a multiplayer cricket strategy game that allows players to take on the role of a team manager. Founded by Keerti Singh and Kashyap Reddy, the game is played in over 100 countries. Reddy, co-founder of Hitwicket, said, “We are thrilled to have Eve and Mallik join our team as we strive to create the first global esports IP from India. Their diverse expertise will have an immediate impact on growing our momentum exponentially. Their gaming experience, particularly in the growth of mobile games, will help us expand our global reach.”
