Hitesh Garg appointed as the India Country Manager by NXP Semiconductor


Hitesh Garg has been appointed as the India Country Manager of NXP Semiconductors. Hitesh, who has more than 25 years of expertise, will be in charge of leading and strategically expanding the India business across all 4 sites, including Bangalore, Noida, Pune, and Hyderabad. As part of the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” or “Self-Reliant India” program, which aims to increase innovation in patents and strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem in India, he will also concentrate on fostering relationships between business, government, and academia.

Hitesh, who has worked at NXP for more than ten years in a variety of capacities, will now concentrate on strategic growth, bolstering regional teams, cross-site cooperation, etc. As the general manager for Analog Mixed Signal IP, Hitesh will remain in that position (AMSIP).

Prior to joining NXP, Hitesh had a variety of technical and leadership positions at state-owned Semiconductor Complex Limited, Microchip, and Conexant Systems. Hitesh graduated from IIM, Bangalore, with a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communications and a Post-Graduate Degree in Management.

We have doubled the number of employees at NXP India over the last three years, and we plan to keep expanding to keep up with demand.

Along with Hitesh’s appointment, NXP also debuted a new India Country Council, which will assist NXP India and promote regional growth. Leaders from cross-functional, cross-site teams in India will make up the Council, and they will work with Hitesh to accomplish NXP India’s goals and objectives.
