Gruhas Invests in The Quorum Club, Boosting Hospitality Expansion Plans

In a pre-series A funding round, lifestyle hospitality platform The Quorum Club secured an undisclosed investment led by Gruhas, an early-stage investment firm founded by Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai. Gruhas acquired a 5% stake in the Gurugram-based company.
The Quorum Club intends to utilize the funds for expansion and to venture into new territories across India. Co-founded in 2018 by Vivek Narain and Sonya Jehan, The Quorum Club operates three brands: The Quorum, district 150, and The Business Quarter.
The company has gained recognition in the corporate, startup, and investor communities with its One Horizon Centre branch in Gurugram.
According to The Quorum Club, they announced their third club in 2022, integrating lifestyle into the work routine. The company is expanding its co-working portfolio under the brand name The Business Quarter, offering hospitality-powered spaces co-located with its clubs.
Additionally, The Quorum Club revealed plans for a 110-seat premium co-working facility in Hyderabad and expanding the Mumbai branch to accommodate 451 seats. Gruhas, specializing in equity and debt investments across various sectors including proptech and media, co-led its first investment in the Shark Tank famed D2C innerwear brand Bummer, worth Rs 9.25 crore.
