GoKwik Acquires Tellephant to Strengthen WhatsApp Commerce Capabilities


 GoKwik, a leading e-commerce enabler in India, has announced its acquisition of Tellephant, an omnichannel communications specialist, in a move to enhance its WhatsApp commerce capabilities. The acquisition comes as GoKwik aims to provide brands with an all-in-one solution to drive conversational commerce and boost revenue growth.

Founded in 2020 by Krishna Pinapatruni, Suhas Entur, and Varun Kapoor, Tellephant focuses on offering brands a conversation-as-a-service platform and has already facilitated the promotion, sales, and support activities of over 300 e-commerce brands through WhatsApp.

With the integration of Tellephant, GoKwik has launched its latest product, KwikChat. This comprehensive solution caters to various use cases across the e-commerce funnel and empowers brands to engage in end-to-end conversational commerce. Backed by GoKwik’s seamless checkout experience and return-to-origin (RTO) intelligence, KwikChat enables brands to establish meaningful connections with shoppers through WhatsApp conversations, thereby driving conversions, increasing ROI, and fostering further growth.
