Freshworks Appoints Murali Swaminathan as Chief Technology Officer

Nasdaq-listed Freshworks has announced the appointment of Murali Swaminathan as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective immediately. Swaminathan will be joining the executive management team and will report directly to Freshworks’ Chief Executive Officer and President, Dennis Woodside.
Before taking on his new role at Freshworks, Swaminathan served as Vice-President of Engineering at software firm ServiceNow. During his tenure at ServiceNow, he was responsible for overseeing information technology service management and strategic portfolio, further enhancing his reputation as a leader in the tech industry.
In a company statement released on Tuesday, Dennis Woodside expressed his enthusiasm for Swaminathan’s appointment, stating, “Murali’s experience aligns exceptionally well with our commitment to deliver products that provide rapid impact and real returns on AI investment and his leadership in employee experience is particularly valuable as we become the platform of choice for enabling mid-market and enterprise customers to compete at global scale.”
