Flipkart Ventures Launches Leap Ahead 4.0 to Back Early-Stage Startups in AI, Drones, and Quick Commerce

Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of India’s homegrown e-commerce giant Flipkart, has announced the launch of Flipkart Leap Ahead 4.0, the fourth edition of its flagship accelerator program designed to support and scale early-stage startups.

The accelerator will offer equity investments of up to $500,000 along with access to structured mentorship from Flipkart’s leadership, sector experts, and seasoned venture capitalists. The 2025 edition will focus on startups innovating in AI-native technologies, drone solutions, and quick commerce enablement, aligning with emerging trends in India’s tech and logistics landscape.

“Flipkart Leap Ahead was created to empower founders with capital, mentorship, and real-world business insights. With 4.0, we’re looking to back the next generation of entrepreneurs building for India’s digital-first economy,” a Flipkart spokesperson said.

Since its inception in 2022, the accelerator program has nurtured startups such as Dopplr, Livwell, Rightbot, Saara, and FlexifyMe—many of which have gone on to raise follow-on capital and scale significantly with Flipkart’s support.

The initiative underscores Flipkart’s continued commitment to fostering innovation within India’s growing digital economy, especially with an eye on serving the next 500 million online consumers. By focusing on cutting-edge sectors like AI and drone tech, the company hopes to unlock new solutions across commerce, logistics, and customer engagement.

Applications for Flipkart Leap Ahead 4.0 are now open, and selected startups will benefit from deep ecosystem exposure, business insights, and product validation opportunities in collaboration with Flipkart teams.
