Flipkart inaugurates inaugural grocery fulfilment center in Bhubaneswar

Flipkart has introduced its maiden grocery fulfilment center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, marking its inaugural step in ensuring rapid grocery deliveries to customers within a 24-hour timeframe.
The establishment of this facility is expected to create employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly, exceeding 300 positions.
Encompassing an extensive area of 1.35 lakh square feet and equipped with a dispatch capacity capable of handling 2.09 lakh units daily, this centre is geared to accommodate the processing of 16,000 orders every day across strategic locations within Odisha.
Its inventory will feature a variety of popular local brands, aiming to meet the escalating demand for online grocery services encompassing essential items like staples, FMCG products, dairy, and more.
