Fitness tech startup Insane AI intorduces AI-powered training app

A health training software driven by artificial intelligence (AI) has been released by fitness technology startup Insane AI. According to a launch, the Bengaluru-based business has created a mobile app that turns the phone’s front camera into a smart exercise companion. The app’s AI-powered Workout Tracking technology enables precise movement monitoring with any smartphone, allowing it to assess how well the user does each exercise and provide real-time posture and form correction.

Two IIT Bombay classmates founded the 2021 startup Insane AI, which received $900,000 in seed funding from pi Ventures, Anupam Mittal, Sameer Pitalwalla, and other angel investors in tech, sports, and health. It has been built on the foundation of proven behaviour formation research and pays users for continuing to use real-world products.

Customers of IOS and Android devices will likely be able to purchase the mobile version on the App Store and Google Play Store, respectively. The software has been in development and testing for a number of years and was built with the combined efforts of certified health trainers, AI engineers, and gamification experts. Working professionals and athletes use it for their training and athletic conditioning. It has been tested on more than 100k registered users across India and Europe.

Numerous guided physical workouts, including HIIT, cardio, muscle training, yoga, balance drills, and recognisable agility drills, are available on the app. The interactive fitness screen keeps users interested with visual clues and real-time recommendations. Customers can access insights on their prior performance and activity history using the app.

According to Anurag Mundhada, co-founder of Insane AI, “Many people today are scared by the requirements to be fit. Finding the ideal gym, finding the time to work out, the high cost of training, or finding the proper trainer are all obstacles. Starting your fitness journey is simple and enjoyable with the Insane app.

“In the next 2-3 years, we intend to convert Insane into a first-of-its-kind fitness metaverse focused around narratives, content, and storylines,” said Jayesh Hannurkar, co-founder of Insane AI and head of product.
