EPACK Prefab, a leading turnkey solution provider for pre-engineered buildings (PEB), prefabricated modular structures, and insulation products, has raised $20 million in its first funding round from GEF Capital Partners, a prominent global private equity fund. This funding aims to bolster EPACK Prefab’s manufacturing capabilities and drive its growth across India.
The investment will be utilized for capex expansion and strategic growth initiatives, including enhancing production capabilities, accelerating new product development, and strengthening the company’s presence nationwide. The funds will also support advanced research and development efforts focused on creating energy-efficient, prefabricated construction technologies.
EPACK Prefab operates cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in Greater Noida, Ghiloth (Rajasthan), and Mambattu (Andhra Pradesh), with a combined annual production capacity of over 133,924 metric tonnes. These facilities are central to the company’s goal of delivering innovative and sustainable construction solutions.
“This funding is a testament to our vision and the capabilities of Prefabrication and PEB technologies. It strengthens our resolve to revolutionize construction practices by delivering innovative, sustainable, and rapid building solutions. This milestone energizes us to set new benchmarks for the industry,” said Sanjay Singhania, Managing Director of EPACK Prefab, in a statement.
Earlier, the company showcased its expertise by completing India’s fastest building project in just 150 hours at its Mambattu facility in Andhra Pradesh.
Krishnan Ganesan, Managing Director at GEF Capital Partners, highlighted the significance of modular construction in promoting sustainable practices, stating, “Modular construction technologies play a key role in decarbonization of the construction sector with their lower GHG footprint and higher climate resilience. We are excited to partner with EPACK Prefab in their effort to catalyze sustainable practices in the construction industry through their offerings.”
