Dubdub.ai raises $1 million in funding from Waveform Ventures and Accel Atoms


AI-based web application startup Dubdub.ai announced that it has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Waveform ventures and Accel Atoms, along with active participation of forwarding Slash Capital and Force Ventures.

Angel investors including Aprameya Radhakrishna (Founder of Koo), Nishant Mungali (Founder of Mindtickle), Deepak Anchala (Founder of Slintel), Swati Mohan (Netflix’s ex-head of marketing), Gaurav Kapur (Host & Actor), and Roshan Abbas (Actor, Director and Founder of Kommune) were present in the funding round. 

The startup intend to utilise the funding for developing technical expertise within the team, enhancing the performance and offerings of the platform, and collecting and validating various case studies from across the globe. Dubdub’s clientele includes MPL, Gameskraft, OkCredit, Fincare Bank, Rusk Media, and Reliance Nippon Insurance.

The Bengaluru-based AI dubbing tool startup has so far been used in 50 different languages, wherein 18% of the views were for the Hindi language, while the other 72% views were from non-Hindi languages. 

Founded in 2021 by Rahul Sankhwar, Anubhav Singh, Anchal Jaiswal, and Rahul Garg. With the help of its Artificial Intelligence-based web tool, the startup ensures audio and video dubbing in more than 50 languages. The people need not have any language expertise, so dubbing becomes easier for a common man, faster, more time and cost-effective.
