DSG Consumer Partners leads a Rs 40 crore funding round for StayVista

Stay Vista, formerly Vista Rooms, has received more than Rs 40 crore in a round headed by DSG Consumer Partners, with participation from Capri Global and CA Holdings. The investment will help the company extend its reach across the country and solidify itself as a long-lasting hospitality brand identified with luxury villa holidays.

StayVista, founded in 2015, boasts a portfolio of 500+ luxury villas in 50+ destinations and a team of over 300 people dedicated to making every stay memorable, having already pleased over 3,000,000 guests. Ankita Sheth, Co-founder of StayVista, commented on the development, saying, “We have increased our revenue during the pandemic due to high repeat and referrals from our 300,000+ guests.” This funding allows us to double down on our growth objectives and expedite the creation of India’s most popular and trusted villa rental brand.

“We will use the funds for growth, increasing our workforce, enhancing our brand, and developing our technology infrastructure,” she added. “As category inventors and leaders, we envision ourselves as the ‘home away from home’ for Indians by expanding into areas where our users commonly go.”

The creators are constructing a long-term business, with certain markets already reaching excellent operating margins. “The team’s execution capabilities and customer-centricity have resulted in their establishment as a clear market leader in villa rentals.”

Vacation rentals are one of the fastest growing hospitality industries, with several businesses scaling massively across regions.” We believe the industry will expand further in India, and StayVista is ideally positioned to capitalize on this potential and build a category-defining brand in villa rentals.”

“StayVista has successfully solved all of the conventional challenges confronting the luxury villa rental sector, such as low yield, lack of transparency, lack of trust, and branding, providing a win-win solution for both homeowners and group travellers.” “A strong founding team with substantial industry knowledge further positions the company to capitalize on the strong development potential that this sector offers,” Capri Global’s Jinisha Sharma noted.
