Mumbai-based luxury streetwear jewelry brand, Drip Project, has successfully raised an undisclosed amount in a funding round led by Blume Ventures’ Blume Founders Fund. This round also featured participation from other investors, including Ankita Vasista, Partner at StrongerHer Venture, and Priti Sawant, Founder and CEO of Joules 2 Watt.
Drip Project plans to utilize this funding to expand its product catalog, increasing its offerings from 500 to over 1,000 products. The investment will also support inventory expansion and further growth initiatives.
The parent company of Drip Project, men’s jewelry brand Metaman, previously secured a $1 million funding round from investors like Nikhil Kamath (co-founder of Zerodha), Suniel Shetty (actor), KL Rahul and Robin Uthappa (cricketers), and others.
Co-founders Harsh Maskara and Anil Shetty expressed their commitment to evolving the luxury streetwear jewelry industry in India with the support of these notable investors.
Drip Project, founded in 2021 by Maskara and Rohit Golia, specializes in a range of jewelry items, including bracelets, chains, pendants, rings, and earrings. In 2022, it was acquired by Metaman for $1 million, with Golia departing following the acquisition.
Blume Founders Fund, a Blume Ventures initiative, focuses on investments in pre-seed, seed, and pre-Series-A startups. The recent funding round underscores the growing interest in India’s luxury streetwear jewelry segment.
