Dr. Shebani Sethi of Stanford University has been appointed CMO by HealthifyMe


Dr. Shebani Sethi has been appointed as the consulting Chief Medical Officer for the Indian health and fitness app HealthifyMe, the company announced on Tuesday (CMO). The company announced in a statement on Tuesday that Dr. Shebani is the founding director of metabolic psychology, a field she founded at Stanford University School of Medicine.

She provides a decade of expertise in psychiatry and obesity medicine, as well as a cutting-edge understanding of metabolic health. The larger organizational goal of HealthifyMe 2.0 is to put metabolic health at its core and weave important cognitive and behavioral neuroscience elements as a part of the company’s DNA across all of its products, and she will play a crucial role in building that version of the company, according to the statement.

Shebani Sethi, MD, is board certified in both psychiatry and obesity medicine. She also serves as a clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she conducts research on metabolic psychiatry and oversees a clinical program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, according to a statement from HealthifyMe.

“I have known Dr. Shebani at Stanford University for years now, and we have been mutually following each other’s work.
