Diebold Nixdorf invests in a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru

In India, Diebold Nixdorf plans to increase its footprint through the construction of a new manufacturing site. The company has begun producing its highly innovative and internationally acclaimed DN SeriesTM cash dispensing and recycling equipment at a production site in Bengaluru, India’s IT capital. This strengthens the business’ dedication to “Make in India” and supports the government’s goal of turning India into a global manufacturing hub.
Together with NASH Industries, a partner in contract manufacturing in India, the dedicated plant has been established. Bengaluru is a logical location for this investment by Diebold Nixdorf because of its closeness to ports, ancillary industry buildup, and talent pool. With an internal capacity to produce more than 18,000 machines annually, the cutting-edge manufacturing facility has a floor area of about 27,000 square feet. Today, the first shipment of machines is leaving the factory and heading to clients. In order to be able to adapt the plant’s capacity to meet any potential future change in demand, Diebold Nixdorf is introducing its highly regarded manufacturing tools and technologies to this site.
Regional Vice President and Managing Director of Banking, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, Jaivinder Singh Gill, stated, “Diebold Nixdorf’s newest state-of-the-art facility at Bengaluru is backed by the company’s deep manufacturing expertise and significant technology capability. The industry’s most advanced cash systems, the DN Series™, which will be manufactured at this facility, offer the financial industry’s highest capacity with the lowest footprint, are highly secure, have increased availability, and offer a highly personalized experience to consumers.”
In addition to earlier investments Diebold Nixdorf has made in India over the course of the past 25 years of its operation, this one is in infrastructure expansion. In Mumbai and Hyderabad, the business operates specialized Global Development Centers.
