Deloitte India acquires ‘Tezeva’ and ‘FaktoryWize’ assets from Websym Solutions

Deloitte India has acquired Tezeva and FaktoryWize from Pune-based startup Websym Solutions, along with the team behind these assets, in order to strengthen its expertise in digital transformation, automation, and the Internet of Things.
The newly acquired assets, Tezeva and FaktoryWize, will empower organizations to harness the potential of IoT, big data, cloud, and analytics for real-time process management. They will also deliver actionable analytics, enhancing productivity, efficiency, operational visibility, and process compliance.
With the acquisition of these assets, Deloitte India has not only broadened its service portfolio but has also enhanced its capability to provide comprehensive advice, implement, and operate solutions for manufacturers, industrial sectors, consumer OEMs, and smart city/smart utilities deployments. This strategic move further solidifies Deloitte India’s position in the market, as stated in their official statement.
Deloitte India has acquired Websym Solutions’ prominent assets, namely ‘Tezeva’ and ‘FaktoryWize,’ along with the team responsible for their development and implementation across clients. While the financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, Deloitte India’s move aligns with its focus on data-driven solutions and services, as stated by the company.
The usage of ‘Tezeva’ and ‘FaktoryWize’ extends to manufacturers in the energy, industrial, and consumer product sectors, as well as smart city initiatives. Deloitte India intends to introduce these products to a wider range of industries. Romal Shetty, CEO of Deloitte South Asia, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisitions, “highlighting our significance in the Industry 4.0 era where data-driven solutions are sought-after across various sectors, enhancing efficiency, convenience, and productivity”.
Tezeva serves as a connected products platform, enabling Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to monitor real-time health, performance, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance of their remotely deployed assets and products. On the other hand, FaktoryWize functions as a connected operations platform, empowering manufacturers to streamline their operations, enhance operational efficiency, and boost margins.
According to the statement, these platforms are designed to operate effectively in diverse shop floor environments, accommodating both discrete and continuous manufacturing processes. They also offer support for multi-plant and multi-country deployments, providing flexibility and scalability to meet the needs of various manufacturing setups.
