Defence expo to be held from Oct 18-22 in Gandhinagar

Premier defence exhibition DefExpo-2022, which was postponed in March, will now be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat between October 18 and 22, the defence ministry said in a statement.
Gandhinagar, India, was originally going to host the exhibition from March 10 to March 14. The event was, however, postponed by the ministry on March 4 due to logistical issues that participants were having.
The five-day event, which will include three business days and two public days, will take place in Gandhinagar between October 18 and October 22, the ministry announced on Monday.
“Live demonstrations showcasing the equipment and skill set of the armed forces, DPSUs (defence public sector units) and industry will be held on all five days at Sabarmati RiverFront,” they mentioned.
According to the statement, DefExpo 2022 is in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of achieving self-reliance in the defence sector and exports of $5 billion by 2025.
The acclaimed biennial defence show DefExpo will be in its 12th year this year.
