Web3 cricket strategy game Cricinshots raises pre-seed funding

Cricinshots, a web3 cricket strategy game, has raised a pre-seed funding round headed by Antler India. The funds raised will be used to speed up product development and strengthen the team. 

Harsh Savergaonkar, co-founder of Cricinshots and Wega Labs, stated, “Users are the most important component of any gaming ecosystem, and existing games do not provide them with any substantial upside. Because India adores cricket, developing new-age games with Wega Labs seemed like the most appropriate first step. Furthermore, both classic and current cricket games lack real strategy features and fail at long-term involvement, which Cricinshots is addressing. The overarching goal is to create games across many genres that will join together to establish an interoperable metaverse.”

Cricinshots, a mobile cricket game, is Wega Lab’s debut project. According to the firm, one of the game’s primary features is its play-and-earn model, a concept that allows gamers to leverage their abilities and time into rewards by winning matches or owning stadiums and a range of NFTs. 

Aditya Kasibhatla, co-founder, Cricinshots & Wega Labs, stated, “As other economies emerge on the blockchain, we envision new chances for people to enjoy games in novel ways.” “We want to transform mobile cricket games with exciting and engaging sessions where users are compensated for the value they give to the ecosystem, their time and enthusiasm.”
