CoutLoot Expands Offline, Opens First Store in Mumbai to Transform Small Retailers

CoutLoot, India’s leading online non-grocery retail aggregator, has announced its expansion into offline retail with the opening of its first store in Mumbai. The company aims to revolutionize the small retail sector by providing infrastructure and technology support to existing retailers. With plans to open 50 stores across UP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi by year-end, CoutLoot is set to transform unbranded merchandise stores into thriving businesses.

The launch of its first store in Malad, Mumbai, marks a significant milestone for CoutLoot’s offline expansion strategy. Jasmeet Thind, Cofounder of CoutLoot, shared his vision, stating, “This move is aimed at creating a large-scale impact both offline and online, helping partner seller stores source better, sell faster, and market wider, ultimately growing into bigger-scale businesses while serving India’s mass consumer segment.”

By leveraging CoutLoot’s technology and data, these small retailers are expected to experience a substantial boost in sales. The company’s robust infrastructure and wider customer base will enable partner stores to increase their sales by 2X within the first year itself.

The strategic partnership with CoutLoot presents a remarkable opportunity for small retailers to tap into a more extensive customer base and enhance their operational efficiency. Rakesh, the owner of Om Stores in Malad, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I am expecting a 3x jump in footfall and sales from this transformed store in the coming months.”

CoutLoot’s decision to transform these existing stores into branded outlets aligns with its broader vision of creating a vertically integrated technology company in the non-grocery retail space. The company aims to offer end-to-end services to its partner network, fostering a seamless and connected ecosystem for retailers and customers alike.

Customers can anticipate a more streamlined shopping experience at CoutLoot’s branded stores, while small retailers can leverage the company’s technological expertise to propel their businesses forward.

CoutLoot plans to monetize its expansion by providing marketing services, facilitating the creation of mini brands for sellers, charging fees for tech solutions and data intelligence, among other revenue streams.
