Cold chain tech startup ZedBlox raises Rs 2.25 crore in funding round

The most recent pre-Series A fundraising for the innovative cold-chain technology business ZedBlox, which has raised 2.25 crore, came from FutureThoughts, Sanpra Investment, and other angel investors.
ActiPod, a smart portable battery-powered carrier created by ZedBlox that can precisely maintain the required temperature during transit without the use of cold packs or other freezing infrastructure.
In order to address the challenges surrounding the storage and transportation of delicate healthcare supplies, ZedBlox will use this fresh cash to expand the company’s operations and reach within India.
ActiPod addresses a problem that plagues the healthcare sector: temperature breaches, which, depending on the weather, cause 5–15% damage to vaccinations, drugs, biologicals, blood and tissue samples, and many other items. ZedBlox also owes its success to the knowledgeable assistance of JioGenNext and IITStartups. ZedBlox has been named as one of the “Top 10 Refrigeration Transport Service Companies” by SiliconIndia magazine.
ZedBlox’s ground-breaking technology was developed at CCMB-AIC, a top government research facility, under the direction of Drs. N Madhusudana Rao and Ramjee Pallela. In July 2022, the invention got a patent, establishing its distinction in the market.
