Byju’s launches one-on-one home tuition service in K12 segment

According to Reports, edtech company BYJU’S has launched BYJU’s Home Tuitions, a one-on-one home tuition service, in the K12 segment.
In August of last year, the Bengaluru-based company launched this as a pilot programme. According to the report, it has hosted approximately 650 demo classes and employs approximately 100 teachers. It also stated that the science and math tuition service is available in all Bengaluru pin codes.
According to the report, the hour-long demo class costs Rs 500, which is added to the monthly fee of Rs 6,000 without a discount. hourly classes are held five days a week.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the company had asked lenders for more time to rewrite an agreement governing a $1.2-billion loan that was breaching covenants.
According to reports, Byju Raveendran, Founder and CEO of BYJU’S, is in talks to increase his stake in the edtech company to as much as 40% and may also offer exits to some of the firm’s investors.
