Blue Circle, a startup focused on professional networking, has secured a new round of funding from top executives in various sectors such as private equity, technology, healthcare, and legal. The Gurugram-based company has already raised more than $500,000 through two rounds of angel funding and is planning a pre-series A round in the coming months. The new funding will be used to enhance the company’s technology, develop its product, and expand its user base. Blue Circle’s app is currently accessible only to senior executives, with more than 15,000 C-Suite executives engaged in sharing opportunities, business requirements, and insights.
According to Siddharth Anand, Founder and CEO of Blue Circle, it was a challenging experience to understand the needs of senior executives for a professional network. However, the platform saw success when members began exchanging business opportunities, making meaningful connections, and meeting offline. Anand expressed gratitude to the investors for their confidence in the company and announced the introduction of new collaboration tools to capitalize on India’s multi-sectoral growth.
Blue Circle’s members have exchanged thousands of business opportunities across 31 sectors, with high traffic ones including Tech, E-Mobility, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, and Agriculture. As a result, numerous transactions have been facilitated, such as a drone manufacturer shipping drones to Africa, successful recruitments by multiple firms through the platform, and an E-Mobility Manufacturer purchasing auto components. These are just a few examples of the many opportunities exchanged through the app.

Blue Circle has launched a new version – Blue Circle 2.0 – with a unique tool to facilitate the exchange of opportunities. This tool allows members to find professionals who are open to collaboration on projects related to their jobs and interests. If you lead operations at a Fortune 500 company and are open to partnerships, gigs, speaking opportunities, or mentoring, Blue Circle can provide a sector-specific platform for you to express your interests.
The platform has already enabled tens of thousands of connections and conversations among members, and hosted over 100 offline and virtual events across various sectors. The startup has also secured investments from prominent leaders such as Arvind Nair, former CEO of Domino’s India and founder/chairman of Carpediem Capital Advisors, Malahara Raju Pinnelli, global vice president of tech company Ecolab, Shivpriya Nanda, legal professional and partner at J. Sagar & Associates, and G Raghavan, managing director of Kaer Air and former CEO of multiple leading organizations.
Shivpriya Nanda expressed her belief that Blue Circle will revolutionize professional networking. She considers the app as a much-needed platform for professionals to discover new opportunities and gain insights, especially during the looming global recession. She even stated that Blue Circle could be the parachute or pit stop crew one needs. On the other hand, Malahara Raju Pinnelli shared his long-standing wish for a clutter-free network where he can explore business opportunities in his sector and other areas of interest. He also expressed excitement to be part of Blue Circle’s journey and believed it could become the world’s leading professional networking app in the future.
