Healthtech startup Blod.in raises pre-seed funding led by Tamilpreneur


Chennai-based Healthtech Startup Blod.in Raises Pre-seed Funding Led By Tamilpreneur.The startup has also received funding from Prabhu Rangarajan, co-founder of M2P Fintech, Mohan K, co-founder and CEO of IppoPay, Vijay Pravin, Ashok Vardharajan, Savitha Ramasamy, senior scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research at A*Star, Karthick Sivaram, co-founder of Backspace Tech, Mohammed Farouk, vice president at Rela Institute, and Bhopan Krishnan etc. 

“The healthcare sector is currently highly unstructured. Blod simplifies and digitises the day-to-day activities of the haematology department of hospitals. Implementing a simple change like Blod makes blood management more efficient and effective.” said founder and social entrepreneur Varun Nair.

Blod plans to scale up and invest in infrastructure, expansions and technology stacks and developing a centralised blood management system by this achievement. Blod.in founded in 2005 by Varun Nair. Their major aim is  to bridge the gap between blood donors and blood recipients by creating a seamless registration experience.They help to find blood donors for the health industry and they focus on removing the blood shortage problem.
