Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), the Indian version of PUBG mobile, on Friday said it has registered 100 million users, since it was launched in July 2021.
The game is created and published by South Korean-game development studios, Krafton. Back in November 2021, Krafton had launched a ‘Game Responsibly’ campaign to promote safer and responsible gaming practices and to raise help cultivate safer and healthier gaming habits.

While it is basically the same as PUBG, BGMI accompanies a few changes. They include a change of colour red to cause it to appear to be less vicious. Players will likewise get suggestions to check their posture and will get reminded of how long they’ve been playing, and that it is a virtual climate. Gamers more than 18 are allowed to turn these off.
Changhan Kim, CEO, Krafton, Inc. commented, “India is an important market for Krafton. We are positive about the opportunities in the country and are committed to create a robust gaming ecosystem. Our focus is pivoted towards constantly elevating the mobile gaming experience for our growing community and invest in the flourishing start-up landscape here.”
