Ashneer Grover’s Hilarious Reaction to Being Compared to Ankur Warikoo Goes Viral

Former Shark Tank India judge, Ashneer Grover, made headlines after responding to a comparison made between him and YouTuber Ankur Warikoo during a management school talk. Although Ashneer jokingly stated that being compared to Ankur was the most “offensive” thing anyone could say about him, he admitted that he relies heavily on social media due to his current popularity and no longer needs Shark Tank.
During an audience interaction session, a student asked if entrepreneurs turn to influencer marketing because being famous is important. Ashneer’s response was in Hindi, stating that he had never heard a more offensive statement. He also established that he likes getting involved in everything and creating a disruption, and that his Reels are being watched because of his influence.
Ashneer explained that it’s a no-brainer for him to continue making Reels as he gets over 20 million views per video. He also disclosed that he has made more money as an influencer than in his previous roles as an entrepreneur and in banking, adding that people consume more of him on social media than they ever did on TV.
Ashneer rose to overnight fame after appearing as a judge on the hit second season of Shark Tank India. Although he did not return for the recently concluded season two, he did not disclose the reason for his absence. Ashneer’s straightforward and humorous response to being compared to Ankur Warikoo has garnered attention and appreciation from many.
