Agritech startup Arya.ag has successfully raised INR 242.36 crore (approximately USD 29.2 million) in a funding round led by Switzerland-based impact investment firm Blue Earth Capital. This round also saw participation from existing investors, Asia Impact SA and Quona Capital.
This marks Arya.ag’s first funding round since January 2022, bringing the company’s current valuation to INR 2,400 crore. To date, Arya.ag has raised around USD 110 million, with USD 60 million coming from a Series C round in 2022, which was led by Asia Impact SA, Lightrock, and Quona Capital.
Founded in 2013 by Prasanna Rao, Anand Chandra, and Chattanathan Devarajan, Arya.ag operates as a grain commerce platform that connects agricultural producers (sellers) with buyers. The startup provides farmers with auxiliary services through third-party lenders, such as debt and storage.
Arya.ag is structured into three verticals: Arya Collateral, Aryadhan, and Aryatech. Arya Collateral is primarily responsible for providing warehouse and storage services. Aryadhan offers agriculture loans against commodities, partnering with digital lenders and banks to facilitate these loans. Aryatech, established to provide online marketplace solutions, focuses on the sale and purchase of food grains.
