Ansys joins with TCS on EV technology

Ansys, an engineering simulation software business, has formed an agreement with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to focus on the development of electric vehicle (EV) technologies.

TCS would establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for advanced digital engineering for vehicle electrification in Pune, using Ansys simulation software, according to the terms of the agreement.

TCS EV CoE will use innovative engineering simulation technologies to speed the development of vehicle electrification for worldwide automotive customers. This CoE will work on e-powertrain components such as batteries, motors, inverters, and power electronics, as well as their integration into EVs.
