San Fransisco-based Alpine Investors acquires online K-12 tutoring platform Focus Edumatics

Focus Edumatics, an online K–12 teaching platform is acquired by the San Francisco-based private equity firm Alpine Investors has bought, giving it the resources it needs to expand its offerings. Focus Edumatics’ ambitious plan to improve teachers’ abilities calls for 14000 new jobs for online tutors in India by 2022, as well as free training for teachers.
