AI-Powered Learning Platform LearnTube Secures Seed Funding From Global Investors

LearnTube, an AI-driven learning platform, has secured initial commitments as part of its larger $2 million seed round. Investors in this round include Blitzscaling Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Bisk Ventures, and non-profit tech-led venture philanthropy investor ACT. The funds are set to deepen the company’s AI and product capabilities, with a focus on developing a multilingual live-learning coach powered by AI.
The newly raised capital will also fuel LearnTube’s product-led growth and support its global expansion efforts. The company plans to target new markets, particularly in the United States, where it aims to scale its operations.
“With the support of our investors, we are now poised to scale our operations, enhance our AI capabilities, and test new markets, particularly in the United States,” said Shronit Ladhani, cofounder of LearnTube.
Founded in 2022 by the husband-wife duo behind the platform, LearnTube transforms online content, particularly from YouTube, into structured, bite-sized courses. The company was formerly known as CareerNinja and is backed by prominent investors such as Naval Ravikant’s AngelList Quant Fund, Capria Ventures, and Goodwater Capital.
LearnTube has also been chosen as part of the inaugural cohort of the ‘Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First’ program, which supports AI-first startups across sectors like gaming, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and cybersecurity.
This funding round comes at a time of both challenge and opportunity for the edtech sector. With the reopening of physical classrooms and study centers post-lockdown, many edtech startups have struggled to maintain long-term sustainability, leading to closures and reduced funding. Despite this, the third quarter of 2024 saw a resurgence in digital learning investments, with the sector raising $224 million, a 357% increase from $49 million in Q3 2023. Notably, PhysicsWallah raised $210 million in September, driving much of the increase.
LearnTube’s inclusion in Blitzscaling Ventures’ portfolio marks one of the firm’s first investments in India. The California-based venture capital firm has previously invested in medtech platform Flexpa, event booking portal Gametime, and locker service provider Bounce.
