AHK Ventures invests $1.2 million in Inker Robotics


AHK Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, has led a pre-series fundraising round for Inker Robotics, a start-up affiliated with the Kerala Start Up Mission, raising $1.2 million.

Inker Robotics is dedicated to leading research and development in robotics and other futuristic technologies, with the goal of empowering the next generation through education in emerging fields. The recent funding from AHK Ventures will enable Inker Robotics to improve its training delivery platform and create even more compelling content for its courses on Robotics and Emerging Technologies.

Rahul Balachandran, the founder and managing director of Inker Robotics, expressed his belief in the “effectiveness of the company’s immersive and engaging approach to teaching futuristic technology skills to young learners.” He also expressed his excitement and gratitude for the support of their investors, as they strive to empower the next generation with the skills needed to prepare for the future.

Inker Robotics’ delivery platform, Inkerlearn, is designed to create an ecosystem that integrates hardware and content to foster an engaging community. The first product to be launched from this platform is the Inker Robomaker, which aims to inspire a scientific mindset in young learners by providing an immersive, experiential, and application-based learning experience.

Harikrishnan C A, representing AHK Ventures, acknowledged “the rapid pace of technological change and emphasised the importance of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship among young people on a global scale”. 

He expressed confidence in “Inker Robotics’ potential to make a significant impact in this area and conveyed excitement at the opportunity to support the company’s growth and success”. Harikrishnan also highlighted AHK Ventures’ “commitment to leveraging their resources and networks to help Inker Robotics achieve new heights”.

Inker Robotics plans to leverage its new platform to promote engagement with learners at both physical and digital levels. The company aims to make a social impact by bringing robotics education to grassroots communities through its innovative technology, and plans to use the funding to increase awareness and literacy in this field among the general public. 

Co-founder and CEO Amith Raman emphasised that “Inker Robotics is committed to creating a unique, world-class customer experience for tech enthusiasts by prioritising experimental, experiential learning that cultivates a scientific mindset”.
