After acquiring Bulbul, the Good Creator Co introduces new app for creators


The Good Creator Co announced on Tuesday the acquisition of Bulbul, a video commerce company, as well as the launch of their new app, Good Creator Co. The functionality of Bulbul will now be integrated into Good Creator Co, with Sachin Bhatia, the former CEO of Bulbul, taking on the CEO role for The Good Creator Co vertical. This information was disclosed in a statement by the company.

Earlier this year in January, The Good Glamm Group invested Rs 200 crore as seed capital into a new entity called The Good Creator Co. The GCC App, which is now available on Android and iOS, integrates the technology stacks of Winkl, Plixxo, and Bulbul, and is strengthened by the data analytics of Vidooly. This unified platform is designed to cater to the requirements of contemporary content creators and influencers.

According to a statement by Sachin Bhatia, CEO of The Good Creator Co, “the acquisition of Bulbul will enhance the company’s creator strategy and grant greater reach to the Tier-2 and Tier-3 demographics on the platform”.

In a statement, Darpan Sanghvi, Group Founder & CEO of The Good Glamm Group, expressed that “the Good Creator Co is essential to their vision of becoming a genuine content-to-commerce company. He added that Sachin Bhatia and his team will collaborate with all their brands to cater to their influencer marketing and commerce requirements, as well as extend their expertise to other brands and companies”.

As per the company, Good Creator Co boasts a database of 1.5 million creators, out of which one lakh users remain active each month. From April 2022 to present day, the platform has enabled 135,000 brand collaborations for creators. The GCC app and its network of creators and influencers have been employed by over 2,000 brands for numerous influencer marketing campaigns.
