Serial entrepreneur and investor Aakash Anand, known for founding Bellavita (acquired by Ananta Capital), today announced the launch of his latest venture, Unikon.ai. The platform aims to democratize “access” and foster meaningful connections by monetizing users’ time and knowledge. Unikon.ai has secured a significant seed investment of INR 16 crores (approximately $2 million) from a prominent group of celebrities and investors, including Nikhil Kamath, Peyush Bansal, and Tanmay Bhat.
Joining Aakash at the helm of Unikon.ai are co-founders Palash Arneja and Sumit Jha. Palash, a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience, serves as the Chief Operating Officer, bringing valuable strategic expertise and an innovative mindset to the team. Sumit Jha, formerly the CTO of Zecpe—acquired by Cashfree in 2023—brings exceptional potential in product innovation to his role as Chief Technology Officer. Together, this dynamic trio is set to propel Unikon.ai towards achieving its objectives.
The platform has garnered attention from an impressive lineup of investors. The seed funding round included participation from Nikhil Kamath (Zerodha), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Vishesh Khurana (Shiprocket), Dholakia Ventures, Nitin Jain & Vasant Sridhar (OfBusiness), Gaurav Khatri (Noise), and influencers like Tanmay Bhat, Raj Shamani, Arjun Vaidya, Sharan Hegde (Finance with Sharan), Ganeshprasad (Thinkschool), Shlok Shrivastava (Techburner), and Rahul Malodia (Business Coach).
