Affle India’s podcast technology receives US patent

The US Patent & Trademark Office (US PTO) has granted Affle India a patent bearing Patent no. 11126416 with an issue date of 21 September 2021. The patent is related to driving app installations and user interactions during podcasts.
Using this technology, future apps will be able to convert not just based on screen-based interactions but also through gesture-based, voice-activated interactions within live streams such as podcasts. Affle now holds four US patents, along with many other pending US, Indian, and Singapore patents. As a result, Affle has a robust patent portfolio of 20 patents across India, the US, and Singapore.

During the day, the company’s shares closed at Rs 5,172.15, an increase of Rs 124.25.
