India will take on world champions Belgium in the semifinal. The current form the Men in Blue are in, gold is not too impossible to think about at the moment. India qualified for Semi finals in 1980 Moscow, but in that event there was no semi final, since only six countries participated due to the ongoing cold war between America and the Soviets. As a result, the team went straight to the finale, and came back with a gold medal. However, if they manage to stick in through the finale, it would be a huge win for them, as this time, they had to win all the stages to reach the summit. As the final hooter went off, the men congratulated each other, and hugged teary eyed. It is yet to be seen whether they can create a real Chak De ! India moment in real life as well.
