Delhi Based WinZO Raises Funding $65M Round Led By Griffin Gaming Partners

Vernacular gaming platform WinZO raises funding $65M in a Series C round, led by California-based Griffin Gaming Partners. Phil Sanderson, Co-Founder of Griffin Gaming Partners, will join WinZO’s board of directors. The compay will use the funding to accelerate growth in the Indian Interactive Entertainment Industry.Nick Tuosto, Co-Founder, of Griffin Gaming Partners and Managing Director and Head of Gaming at LionTree said, “We are excited to make Griffin Gaming Partners’ first investment in India backing WinZO, the company behind the largest social gaming app in the country. As per the claims its revenue has grown tenfold over the last 12 months, and it has partnered with over 100 leading game developers.
