Electric vehicle platform BLive announced that it has made an agreement with Green Cross United Kingdom (GCUK) to boost electric mobility at tourist destinations across Europe and SouthEast Asia. As a part of the memorandum of understanding (MoU), BLive and GCUK together will develop various initiatives to drive EV adoption in tourist destinations in Europe and SouthEast Asia, the company said in a statement. BLive will also work as an Impact Advisor to GCUK for sustainable tourism initiatives across the globe, it added.
“This is a very big step towards promoting the adoption of electric vehicles along with the promotion of sustainable tourism across the globe. We are happy to have a partner like GCUK onboard to help us in our mission of making sustainable mobility a practice across the globe and a big part of the experiences offered in tourist destinations. “Once we are on the other side of this wave and it is safe to travel again, with this partnership, we will be accelerating our presence across 30 cities and introducing more BLive tours across India,” Samarth Kholkar and Sandeep Mukherjee, co-Founders, BLive, said. BLive offers unique, experiential, guided tours on electric bikes and also launched India’s first online EV marketplace, offering top brands of e-cycles and e-scooters. BLive EV Tours has expanded to the top 15 cities across 9 states in India and has completed over 13,000 ebike tours so far.
