Graphy Launches Rs 100 Crore Grant For Content Creators


Graphy, is an Unacademy group company, who announced a Rs 100 crore Creator Grant to help creators, influencers, subject matter experts, teachers and instructors from any sector who are aspiring to create an online learning community and online schools. The purpose of the grant is to provide an initial capital to content creators, but it is up to the content creator to create a stable revenue stream to continue with the platform in future. If someone wants to get this grant, they would have to pay for it. Based on the application, the applicant will be informed whether they are eligible for the grant and after that they will receive 50 percent of the funds post-approval. The remaining 50 percent will be given after the launch of the course.

Over the years, the creators’ economy has witnessed a surge, but very few are able to pursue their passion for creating content due to the absence of proper funding and so Graphy launches a Rs 100 crore grant. “Creators are the lifeblood of the digital world and working with inadequate resources can be a tiring process,’ Sumit Jain, co-founder and CEO of Graphy, said. The vision to facilitate and enable creators to achieve financial freedom led to the conception of the Graphy Creator Grant, he added.
