The Web3 platform Wall.app has recently announced that it secured over $1 million (approximately INR 7 crore) worth of funding from a series of investors in its new funding round. The round saw participation from Woodstock Fund, Arcanum Capital, Lancer Capital, Lumos Labs as well as entrepreneurs like Tushar Agarwal (Founder of Persistence), Aniket Jindal (Biconomy) and Prabhakar Reddy (Falcon X).
The company has revealed that it would utilize the recently infused capital to boost its operations across not only technology but also enhance marketing. Further, the startup also aims to onboard more customers to bolster growth.
Expressing his views on the recent surge in Web3 platforms, the co-founder of Wall.app, Anuj Kodam said, “Web3 is an incredible opportunity for everyone on the internet. Web3 is about financialising the information layer. First you could send a picture online, now that picture has value. The same is going to happen with a lot of things and people can realise this value by being part of this, as coders, contributors, creators and even consumers. Imagine what it would be to get paid for watching YouTube, that’s the potential Web3 has for the internet and we have just started. Excited for what’s to come in the next five years.”
Founded by Amarnath JV and Anuj Kodam, Wall.app is a platform where people can look out for the top new non-fungible token (NFT) trading, and also interacts with others across various communities.
