South Korean companies Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will disclose a few semiconductor facts to the U.S. government, the South Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance said.
According to a statement launched on Sunday through the finance ministry, South Korea primarily based totally chipmakers are getting ready for a “voluntary submission” handy over their internal statistics to the U.S.
Samsung and SK Hynix, however, will not offer any sensitive data to protect trade secrets and techniques as they post the information to Washington, Reuters said. Local media also said that the world’s two largest reminiscence chipmakers would ” in part comply with Washington.
