Ola Electric begins scooter test rides; will start delivery soon.
Ola Electric has begun taking test rides of its scooters and plans to begin deliveries soon. Varun Dubey, Ola Electric’s Chief Marketing Officer, spoke with CNBC-TV18 about the company’s delivery goals and charging infrastructure.
The software will be upgraded before it reaches clients, according to Dubey. It’s a wireless update, similar to what you’d get on your phone or computer. “The essential message is that we need to reconsider how we think about automobiles.” This is now a product with a lot more software. It’s not only about the software that’s on the market right now.
After you purchase this vehicle, you will be living with it for several years, and we will have continuous software updates that will keep adding more and more cool features,” he said, adding that, unlike in the past, the S1 and S1 Pro will have ever new features in the future, and will continue to improve. On the test ride, he stated that home test rides will be the company’s steady-state solution. However, because of the high demand, they will begin with a hybrid model, in which test camps would be held in cities with substantial populations.
The camps will begin rolling out across numerous cities starting tomorrow, and in cities with smaller populations, we will offer home test rides.
