Lucknow Based Knocksense raises $150k in bridge round of funding


The hyperlocal content production platform Knocksense announced that it has raised $150k in its bridge round of funding led by angel investors. The round was led by We Founder Circle, Appyhigh, Mumbai Angels Network and LetsVenture.

The startup aims to utilize the recently infused capital in technological development of the platform KnockOFF and for geographical expansion across the new cities targeted to be achieved within the first fiscal. The company also wishes to expand its product offering thus providing captivating content and more features to the customers.

Commenting about the recent funding cycle, Neeraj Tyagi, the CEO and Co-founder of We Founder Circle said, “We are really happy to see the growth achieved by the Knocksense team. Hyperlocal content is rapidly gaining prominence, in addition to that a platform like KnockOFF, which enables value-creating and transactions has immense potential with social ecommerce. I am sure this fundraising is going to be a turning point in the growth of the company”.

Founded in August 2020 by Vibhor Mayank and Varul Mayank, Knocksense is a hyperlocal news and recommendations platform. The startup has a further subset known as KnockOFF which leverages hyperlocal content into an online e-commerce space by connecting local brands and businesses to customers through exciting deals. The company has 20 million+ impressions and has raised $0.5 million till date.
