Freshworks’ Q3 revenue surges 46%

The IT Company Freshworks reported a 46% growth in revenue to $96.6 million for the third quarter that ended in September. Additionally, the company posted a loss of only 4 cents per share thus beating the analysts’ estimates of revenue and earnings by a significant margin. The company follows the calendar year as its financial year.
As per the estimates made by The Street, Freshworks was to announce revenue in the range of $90.8 million with a net loss of 10 cents per share. The reports of increase in the revenue come right at the time of Diwali celebrations where employees can now sell their 20% stakes in the company for a high profit.
Founded in 2010 by Girish Mathrubootham and Shan Krishnasamy, Freshworks is an information technology based giant which aims at building and developing software as a service for its clients thereby making technology affordable and easily accessible to all.
Following the revenue earned in Q3 by the company, Freshworks has raised its revenue forecasts for the fourth quarter to the range of $99 million to $101 million and for the full year to be in the range of $364.5 million to $366.5 million.
