Luxury Catering Company Foodlink raises $8 million in Series B round of funding


The Mumbai based catering company Foodlink recently announced that it has raised $8 million in its Series B round of funding led by Plutus Wealth Management. The round also saw participation from Arpit Khandelwal, Managing Director, Plutus Wealth Management under individual capacity.

The capital infused in the luxury catering company would be utilized to expand the flagship luxury catering across diverse geographical boundaries in India and overseas. Further, it intends to take its luxury banquet JADE Luxury Banquets to more cities and expand its foothold in the market.

The company is also likely to employ the fresh funds to scale up its casual dining restaurant business through its brands Art of Dum, India Bistro and China Bistro. The luxury catering company has raised $23 million till date including the recent round of capital infusion.

Expressing his pleasure on the recent infusion of capital, the founder of Foodlink, Sanjay Vazirani stated, “We are delighted to have Plutus on board and backing us for this next exciting phase of the Foodlink journey along with OAKS Asset Management, who has been a valuable partner over the last few years.”

Founded in 1998, Foodlink is a premier luxury catering company based out of Mumbai. It specialises in providing quality food and catering to large scale vents such as weddings and religious gatherings at affordable rates.

Talking about the recent infusion of capital, the Managing Director of Plutus Wealth Management, Arpit Khandelwal said, “Weddings in India are a recession-proof business, and the increased focus on high quality, hygienic food and formally organised vendors will strengthen Foodlink immensely.”
