ASEAN could tap India’s vibrant technology and startup scene

The organisation known as ASEAN could soon tap into India’s vibrant technology and start-up scene to grow finance and trade. Speaking at the annual India- ASEAN summit, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien said that digital transformation and public health cooperation are the areas of priority and Singapore is very much committed to pursuing them as a coordinator for ASEAN- Indian relations.

The ASEAN includes various countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and many more. The vibrant ties between the two countries sprung up during the past few years with the focus on cooperation of trade and investment as well as security and defence.
