Bengaluru based e-commerce player 10club acquires 3 gardening startups

The e-commerce player 10club announced that it has acquired three e-commerce firms from the lawn and gardening segment for an undisclosed amount. The three startups that have been acquired include- Kraftseeds, GateGarden and Kriti Kalash.
With the acquisition, all the employees of the three startups would be joining the 10club team thus multiplying the employee headcount from 48 to 400. The acquisition is likely to bring the revenue run rate of 10club up to $50 million per annum.
Expressing his thoughts about the recent acquisition, the co-founder and COO of 10club, Deepak Nair, stated, “We are extremely bullish on the home category. The acquisition of three strong brands in the lawn and garden segment gives us a strong foothold and more importantly will complement the six new acquisitions that we will announce shortly. With these acquisitions, we will be clocking revenue of over $50 million in the home category alone.”
The brands acquired by the e-commerce roll up specialise in seeds, soil, flower bulbs, manure, planters and every other kind of tools required for gardening. 10club believes that the lawn and garden segment saw a spike in the demand due to the global pandemic as people looked for new hobbies and caressed for their house.
