Trell to raise $100M in funding, valuation at almost $800M
Bengaluru-based platform Trell is in talks to raise $100 million from industrial giant Amazon and other investors. With this round of funding coming to a close, the company’s valuation is set to reach close to $800 million. The startup, in July 2021, raised $45 million in its Series-B round led by Mirae Asset and H&M.
Trell has been investing into four major areas: AI / ML development, team expansion, community building, and expansion of product offerings. Trell’s aims to “matchmake brands with the right partners and grow through the platform and reach relevant customer groups”. IFurthermore, the platform focuses on uplifting regional content creators and matching them with their target audience.
The company recently acquired Womaniya with the aim of improving efficiency and promoting collaboration among women.
